The Russian Education    

   The quality of education in the Russian Federation is a legacy of the socialist times, with serious and deep traditions. The country has one of the strongest educational systems and affordable in the world, with reference to different areas of knowledge, especially in the natural and exact sciences.
     According to the last census in 2002, about 15.94% of the population has university education complete, which equals 22 million and 700,000 Russians. 49% of the population has technical education, which equates to 70 million and 200 thousand inhabitants. These rates are much higher when compared to Brazil and demonstrates the high level of education of the Russian people.
    Currently, there are over 1,300 institutions of higher learning. Of this total, the vast majority are still the state universities, ie the public. As in Brazil, these institutions, whether federal, state or municipal, are considered the best in the country. And are some of these universities that the Alliance of Russian Higher Education is officially in Latin America.
    Perhaps one of the main legacies left by the socialist period in Russia is the good quality of teaching. This fact is proved by the great demand for people worldwide by undergraduate and graduate institutions. It is not uncommon in Russia to find universities with students from over 80 countries. Within the Russian universities, foreign groups that stand out are the Chinese, Indian and African countries.Graduates of high level institutions in Russia have traditionally been the highest positions in the world rankings, proving that Russian education has been among the best in the world. The equipment of the universities are of the highest level of technology and teaching methods are constantly being updated and improved.
    Already out of college Russian banks some of the biggest names in literature, engineering, law, among other areas academics. The quality of teaching in the land of Stalin already created numerous Nobel prizes.
